Lighting designer
I'm Jordi Saladié, a lighting designer and atmosphere creator. I grew up in my father's lamp shop, my first teacher; from him, I understood that light is not just an object, but a way to intervene in space and in people's lives.
My training has been built on practical experience, alongside renowned figures like Mario Nanni, Enzo Catellani, Toño Sainz, and Ramón Rey, developing my own unique perspective where technique and sensitivity coexist naturally. I've developed projects for residences, hotels, restaurants, gardens, and light art installations, designing luminaires as a natural extension of the architectural project.
In parallel, I've developed a line of research exploring the relationship between light, perception, and biological rhythm, giving rise to Low Light Atmosphere. Today, my work lies at the intersection of design, technique, and research, with a clear intention: to accompany the night with light.
